We are delighted to invite you to Belwinds press conference on Friday 12th February 2010 at Zeebrugge.
You are expected at 01.00pm sharp at Parking Seafront to board on the Seastar.
After the lunch and an exciting presentation about this project,

Minister President of Flanders Kris Peeters
will inaugurate the 1st turbine.
Well be back at Parking Seafront around 4.30pm.

Belwind is currently developing Belgiums largest renewable energy power plant at 46km from the Belgian coast. The construction of this wind farm will be in 2 phases,
with 55 turbines built in each phase, and a total capacity of 330MW. The currently constructed phase I will produce 0,55TWh, which is enough to provide 175.000 households
with green energy, and avoid 270.000 tonnes/year on CO2 emissions. There is, until today, no other wind farm in the world that is located as far offshore as Belwind,
which is also the fastest offshore wind development in the world.
